The White Pompom: A Symbol of
On January 14th, 2025, the White Pompom achieved international recognition as a symbol of freedom during the Global Sustainability Network's annual meeting in Abu Dhabi.
This seemingly simple, soft object now carries profound meaning as a universal emblem in the fight against human trafficking, child labor, modern slavery, and all forms of exploitation.
The genius of the White Pompom lies in its accessibility and versatility. Unlike complex logos or exclusive symbols, anyone can create, wear, or display a pompom. Its gentle, tactile nature creates a striking contrast to the harsh realities it stands against, making it both approachable for conversation and powerful in its symbolism.
The Freedom Pompom campaign invites individuals, organizations, schools, and communities to wear or display the White Pompom to raise awareness, initiate conversations, and unite for a common cause.
